As part of the project ‘Social Movement Learning and Knowledge Production in the Struggle for Peace with Social Justice’, activists and academics belonging to the research team visited in Nepal in January 2018, hosted by the Nepal Medheshi Foundation. The visit included in-depth discussions and knowledge dialogues and meetings with social movement leaders and activists in the Madhesh region. The group included social movement leaders from Colombia, Turkey, Nepal, and South Africa, and academics from the University of Sussex (UK) and the UCL Institute of Education (UK).
